Well if it makes you feel any better every pregnant women questions herself at one point or another so don't make any hasty decisions based on how scared you are. Being pregnant is very scary no matter what you cirstances and you don't seem to have a lot of support right now. Many of the people on this site have true horror stories surrounding adoptions. It's important to take them into consideration and realize that not all adoptions turn out well and there is pain and loss with all adoptions. That said I have friends and family that have been adopted and are grateful that their mothers chose that for them. If you need someone to talk to you I'm willing to answer questions. Please don't let any one's advice sway you one way or the other this is an important decision that affect many lives make sure you can feel good about what you decide.

How will California smog know that I have a MagnaFlow High-Flow Catalytic converter?

My car is a 2000 Honda Civic SI and I installed MagnaFlow High-Flow Catalytic Converter a couple months ago but I need to get it smogged soon. Well, I have to agree that Commission Goodell is misusing his power in regards to the Brett Favre situation. Goodell is the commissioner. Favre is a football player, and if he wants to come back he shouldn't have to go through Goodell. He is Packer property until he signs the dotted line saying that he wants out. So what I'm saying is, he should be speaking directly with the organization rather than going to Goodell about. Roger has proven to be a very tough commissioner in handing down punsihment to players. Why don't gymnasts have to wear shoes? All other indoor sports wear footwear, why not them?

My guess is that they're better able to feel the ground/balance beam. If they have shoes on, they wouldn't be able to know exactly where their feet are on the beam, which can be devastating. Also, gymnastics as an artistic element to it, and the pointed feet adds to it just like in ballet, but they don't need hard, leather pointe shoes).

I am planning on leaving Jan '10 for a two month (at least) backpacking trip starting in Lima, Peru. Why did my cars head unit die?

I recently took my 2002 Sportster 1200 to the shop to have the front brake adjusted. There was a lot of free play in the hand lever. As I suspected there was a problem with one of the caliper pistons sticking thus allowing the free play in the hand lever. It was a minor problem and they fixed it pretty quickly. The problem is now that the pads are rubbing on the rotor slightly, which I imagine can't be good. Aren't the breaks supposed to be self adjusting? Is there an easy fix that I can do, or is it back to the shop?

Lol has this ever happened to you?

alrighty so ive had my period for quite some time now...in two days it will be 9 weeks. i first went to the clinic at the 3 week mark and they gave me 5 days forth of hormones. all that happened was it got a bit lighter. like to the point of spotting. then i got my blood tested for iron levels as im bleeding non stop xD i was totally fine but randomly had low potium levels so i ate bananas like i was told etc...then at the 5 week mark i went to the doctor and was given 2 months worth of alesse and ive got 2 sugar pills left as of today. im planning on calling the doctor on wednesday or thursday because it still hasnt stopped. im not really concerned yet because all they said was that when i was supposed to get that big rush of hormones to build that wall in the uterus i was sick or something so it wasnt very strong. the doctor (at 5 weeks) told me its just been piecing away slowly an rebuilding itself and thats why its been light the whole time. so its just never ending lol and a couple days into the sugar pills it got to the heaviness of my normal period. thats why im waiting til im a few days into the next pack before i call to see if it actually stops. sorry if this is confusing lol i sort of rambled xD what would you do?

Dash Air bag light and engine light on a 2005 ford focus ST?

So I started the car today and both the engine light and the air bag light were on. I had some issues with the car chugging in lower RPMs in 5th gear so I cleaned the CAI filter and now this...I think it's an O2 or MAF issue, but I'm not 100%. Infected incision?

on october 14th i had a surprise surgery and had my appendix taken out. they used a scope to do the incisions and now on of them is infected. i popped it last nite to get all the pus out and put some bactine(a disinfecting medicine) and covered it with a bandaid. am i gonna be able to take care of this myself and is there any suggestions on things i should do to fix this? i really dont wanna go to the doctor if not neccesasry since i already have a huge bill to pay

I was diagnosed with A.L.L. (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) in September of 2005 and have been in remission for about 4 years now. A few months ago, my mother was diagnosed with myxofibrosarcoma. She underwent radiation therapy and had the tumor removed; but apparently myxofibrosarcoma comes back fairly frequently. My dog has just died.. I don't know what to do?

My dear German shepherd Ava has ped away this evening about ten minutes ago. I had let her out after dinner to do her business, like every other night. She had somehow gotten out of the yard and ended up being hit by a car (the person who was driving drove away - I can't believe someone could be so heartless). I didn't know it, so my neighbor came up and told me Ava had walked up to her house and lied down and was having trouble breathing. I was getting ready to take her to the nearest animal hospital (45 min away) when she stopped breathing. I am heartbroken. She would've been a year old in February. She was my first GSD and such a loving, kind dog. In a way, she was my best friend. I have never experienced a pet's death and I just don't know how to cope. So do out atoms just disperse, after we break down and turn into them, and then do they get eaten or get absorbed by other living things, so we turn into those living things, like animals or plants or fungi or single-celled organisms, after we die as humans? Like, do our brains break down so we're not us anymore, so you're not the same person that you were when you had your human brain, but do some of the atoms in your body turn into the brains of non-human mammals, or even other humans? So do we get another consciousness? I don't know whether that makes me feel batter, or scares me, because I'd like to become another human, but that human wouldn't be me, and I would still be dead because I wouldn't have my life anymore, or even worse, what if I became a dog that was abused? Or a sick salmon with fungi all over it that has a miserable life in some stagnant c before it slowly dies? Or a plant that doesn't have any feelings or thoughts at all? Actually, if I were a plant, I wouldn't care. I think it might be better to believe that after we're dead, we're all just dead, and we won't care, it won't even be all black void and nothing because we won't be able to sense anything. What can I do with my radishes?

I wanted to find some recipes on canning radishes and I'm not having much luck. What I wanted was to be able to put them in jars that I can preserve throughout the year. At my 18 weeks sonogram I was told that my baby has an Uncoiled or Straight umbilical cord (instead of twisted like a twizzler the vessels are straight), the Doctor couldn't really tell me much because it only happens in 4% of pregnancies. I went home and immediately googled it and now I am terrified. There's alot of cases about losing babies at 30-35 weeks gestation and Trisomy disorders etc. I was wondering has anyone been told their babies cord was like this? and if so what was the outcome of your pregnancy and is your baby healthy? After school, me and my friend went to Tim Hortons and I had a small mocha icecap surpreme... then when I got home I did a video workout (40 minutes) and i had to stop because my stomach hurt so much. I had to go to the washroom a couple times and i took two chewable tablets of pepto bismol. After about 20-30 minutes my stomach stopped hurting and i just layed down on the couch. All of a sudden my asthma started acting up (it rarely does) and it was hard to breathe but not to the point where i felt dizzy or anything. I didn't use my asthma puffer because i found out today that it expired in 2006...=/ then my nose got really stuffy and my lip, hands (palms), back, leg, and arms got really itchy. What is a texturizer? Is it permanent like a relaxer?

I stopped relaxing my hair over a year ago and it has grown tremendously. Although I have a wavy grade of hair, the hair around my temple is a little more tightly curled. I would like to balance out the waves and was considering a texturizer. My current hair regiment consists of washing my hair with Dubar Vitika Conditioning Shampoo and I also untilize their Coconut Oil regularly. Additionally, I use a Pantene's Relaxed and Natural Deep Conditioner about once a week. I really want to know the true effects if I use a texturizer. I know it's a chemical but I just don't want to put too harsh of a chemical on my hair. I just want a little easier maintanence. Why is "fate" or "feelings" always so convenient? It seems like people will just take the easier answer for their situation. Sorry to burst your bubble, but it is near impossible to scream like Mitch. He got his signature scream because he got some sickness (Bronchitis I think?) and then decided to practice his vocals despite the sickness. It ended up "damaging" his vocal chords, but ended up getting a bad *** scream because of it. About your question, I can't really answer it. The only advice I can think of is to get some mucous caught in your throat (Don't swallow your spit) Then use that mucous to create the fry scream sound. But don't let people tell you to inward/inhale scream. It doesn't sound good, and it's not very good for you.

It's been a little over a year since I broke my shin (tibia and fibula), and although I can walk fine and even run, I feel a crippling self consciousness when I attempt anything strenuous. This is not without grounds either, I had a very positive attitude for recovery, but six months after the fracture and consequent surgery, I suffered a hairline fracture in the same spot, and then today I felt a loud snap after I fell down, and I have a little of a limp from the pain (which is local to the fracture point). I can't even feel good sprinting anymore without imagining myself breaking apart and having my bones rip through my skin. I feel so extremely weak and fragile, even playing soccer scares me. I used to play football and tumble to emphasize the level of contact, and now I am almost ready to give up my past and train to be a contortionist or something, it's awful, please help.

Either it was a trial, or it was uninstalled and reinstalled, and now it needs to be activated with the original serial numbers. Try putting in random numbers, see if that works. Onlt his real mother should be. All the things that are going on with the NFL nowadays...I almost feel that some teams should be in a seperate bush league for all the stupid immature stuff that is going on. Lets take the Bengals for instance, with so many players being arrested for whatever reason and then have the head coach say that the police are targeting his players? I am really sure that every police officer across the nation has a list of each and every Bengal player and they are told that whenever you happen upon any of these people, arrest them and charge them with something. I guess it just goes to show that when the head coach has the same mentality as his players that every police officer is out to get them then I guess everyone can see that the players arent necesarilly the problem. Most people would say there is only one way to throw, and that is over the top. I personally throw the ball three quarter sidearm, and I have no injuries. It really is all about how comfortable you are when you throw. Stretching is important, but not vital, especially if you aren't a pitcher. Some average arm stretches are helpful, just make sure you warm up plenty before throwing full speed.

Change over from dry food to wet?

It isn't just that you are giving wet food, it is because they are getting a better quality food. Purina is crap food. You have to look at the ingredients of the food. Cats are carnivores not omnivores. Yet most foods contain mostly grains (a little grain is ok), which they can't digest properly. With those foods they aren't getting the nutrition they need and their coat isn't as good. So they shed more and have more hair they throw up. I feed my cats Innova Evo food. It is mostly meat and animal products. I feed them both hard and canned food, and they have the best coat imaginable and never throw up. I also squirt some salmon oil on their wet food which helps their coat as well. I would suggest trying it and seeing an even greater difference. If you are going to have a pet you need to give them what they need even if it costs a little more. They will live healthier and longer.

Xbox 360 freezing in gears of war 2?

Hey fella's Heres my question, Ive got a 360 that has so far worked fine, since i got it back from MS for the RROD. until i got a copy of gears of war 2. I replaced the copy twice so far, for freezing on me during gameplay. and sometimes I get "disc unreadable" and it brings me back to the dash board. But I can play halo3 and my other games till the cows come home. Id like to contact epic somehow and complain or just let them be aware of the issue. I did all the tricks .. i think.. I did hard drive cahe trick, and the reset graphics trick, holding y and right trigger at start up.. nothing worked. the xbox is cool and in open spaces. cant take to MS my warrenty is up, but my other games work fine... sigh...

I want to join the air force, can someone give me some advice?

I am almost 24, no kids nothing bad on my record, but I do have a mild case of mitral valve prolapse, I have to take medication for this for the rest of my life. i think the routine sounds great. the only thing i would be careful with is how soon after the run you are feeding him. i know a dog that did its normal walk and when he got home, he ate his dinner and then had to be rushed into emergency because he got bloat...research a little more about it, as im not sure exactly how long you should wait, but that does sound like it might be a little too soon. good luck...
