So I'm planning on writing a great book, probably a 5 or 4 book series.?

I love fantasy books, and for my book I have this idea of creating a new sport, futuristic, but a storyline set in the past. Any ideas? I was thinking of maybe the players having to put these special kind of 'skates' on that makes them hover, or fly, and a glove in which to hold a small ball in which they have to throw through ice-hockey sized net floating 100 feet in the air. Similar to Quidditch from Harry Potter, but I do not want to make it too alike.
