If personification is giving inanimate objects human qualities then...?

From what I can tell on dictionary.com, there doesn't seem to be a lot of difference, except that antrhopomorphism seems to include giving God(s) human qualities as well as animals and inanimate objects. Personification seems to be more of a figure of speech rather than an idea.
