Me and my boyfriend got into a fight (physical) Help!?

i was by my bf house and we were just chilling and stuff well i was walking down there hallway and it was a like slap in my head and yes it hurted so i did a back slap and i turned around and and it was my bf he was like man i'm a b**** for that and pushed my head back and i had slapped him again harder and he pushed me really hard against the wall and i had hit my head really hard i started cryin because it hurted badly. He was tryin to say he was sorry but i left i ignored all his call, messges, and text messages.i dont even want to look at him. i am really upset with him. i want to get over this and get back with him but i don't know how. i have a huge knot over my head my mom ask me about it but i don't want to tell her he pushed me cause she is going to make me break up with him please help what should i do?
