Am i proving myself foolish?

I got hacked by one of my old friends on myspace and msn... i did not revenge and don’t want to and honestly don’t need to. Since then, i have not made myspace nor have my official email again... because i don’t want to get stuck into tht chaotic trap again and become addicted... am i doing the right thing? Am i foolish and proving myself weak?
