Help ASAP, due tomorrow?

I have to do an author project for school, and my author is Jane Austen. Part of the project is to write your own story using Austen's style, and then explain how you managed to do this (write in the author's style). What should I write about that's not romantic, because I'm a romantic person and my writings all sound sappy. What should I say about how I managed to write the story in Austen's style? And what should the character names be?
